No one seems to care about the suffering about the rats in Bangkok due to the recent flooding.  Rats are highly intelligent and sensitive creatures.  I am sure the flooding has traumatized these poor animals.  Perhaps a special government fund can be created to help the Bangkok rats!  Of course, a special government task force will have to be created to study the problem in detail.

From: http://www.veganpeace.com/animal_facts/Rats.htm

“Rats are intelligent animals. They are more intelligent than rabbits,
hamsters, mice, gerbils and guinea pigs for instance. They also have excellent
memories. Once rats learn a navigation route, they never forget it.  Rats are very clean animals. They spend several hours each day grooming  themselves and each other. They are less likely than dogs or cats to catch and transmit parasites and viruses. Rats are curious but shy. They prefer to run away rather than confront a potential threat.”

Combat speciesism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciesism) today and help the rats!
