                                                               1)Beliefs Belief   is the psychological state in which an individual holds a conjecture or   premise to be true.
     2)Counterculture      A   counterculture is a subculture whose values and norms of behavior deviate   from those of mainstream society, often in opposition to mainstream cultural   mores.
     3)Cultural Universals      general traits that exist in all cultures
     4)Culture       Culture refers to the cumulative deposit of   knowledge, experience, beliefs, values, attitudes, meanings, hierarchies,   religion, notions of time, roles, spatial relations, concepts of the   universe, and material objects and possessions acquired by a group of people   in the course of generations through individual and group striving.
     5)Folkways       Folkways, in sociology, are norms for   routine or casual interaction.
     6)Law Law   is a system of rules and guidelines which are enforced through social   institutions to govern behavior.
     7)Material Culture      Material   culture refers to the relationship between artifacts and social relations.
     8)Mores      Mores are the fixed   morally binding customs of a particular group.
     9)Norms      The rules defining appropriate and   inappropriate behavior.
     10)Social Group A   social group has been defined as two or more people who interact with one   another, share similar characteristics and collectively have a sense of   unity.
     11)Social Structure Social   structure refers to patterned social arrangements in society that are both   emergent from and determinant of the actions of the individuals.
     12)Society A   society, or a human society, is a group of people involved with each other   through persistent relations, or a large social grouping sharing the same   geographical or social territory, subject to the same political authority and   dominant cultural expectations.
     13)Sociobiology Sociobiology   is a field of scientific study which is based on the assumption that social   behavior has resulted from evolution and attempts to explain and examine   social behavior within that context.
     14)Sociological Imagination Sociological   Imagination is the application of imaginative thought to the asking and   answering of sociological questions.
     15)Sociology Sociology   is the scientific study of human social behavior and its origins,   development, organizations, and institutions.
     16)Subculture A   subculture is a group of people within a culture that differentiates   themselves from the larger culture to which they belong.
     17)Symbols A   symbol is an object that represents, stands for, or suggests an idea, belief,   action, or material entity.
     18)Taboo A   taboo is a vehement prohibition of an action based on the belief that such   behavior is either too sacred or too accursed for ordinary individuals to undertake,   under threat of supernatural punishment.
