Aesop’s Fables

Objectives

1) The student will be able to use the adjectives “lazy” and “hardworking” and apply them to the fables 1.0 and 2.0.

2) The students will be able to apply the adjectives lazy and hardworking in the present tense to themselves and their classmates.

3) The more advanced students will be able to discuss the moral of the story of the fables presented.

Who was Aesop?

Aesop was an Ancient Greek fabulist or story teller credited with a number of fables now collectively known as Aesop’s Fables.

What is a fable?

A short tale designed to teach a moral lesson.  The fable often uses animals or inanimate objects as characters.

8.3) Create a fable of your own.  Remember a fable must have a moral to the story and tell the class the moral of your story at the end of your fable.  The animals should be in character.
